Barry founded the firm to provide high quality IP legal services to the international community. For over 30 years, Barry has practiced intellectual property law at law firms and major corporations, including Compaq Computer Corporation and Intel.

Barry’s practice focuses on patent preparation and prosecution involving highly complex technology, including software architecture, computer networking, and seismic data processing and visualization. He also has extensive experience in drafting and negotiating intellectual property license agreements of all types. In addition, Barry has prepared countless opinions regarding patent validity and infringement. He has participated in patent litigation in the federal courts of the United States, as well as the International Trade Commission.

Barry received his B.S.E.E. from the University of Oklahoma in 1984. In 1986, he received his M.B.A. from Oklahoma City University. Indiana University awarded Barry his J.D. (cum laude) in 1990.

He is licensed to practice law in the state and federal courts of Texas. He is also registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
